20 projects of Chisinau Student Councils will receive funding under the Municipal Grant Program 2025  

Chisinau Municipal Youth Center has announced the results of the second edition of the Municipal Grants Program for Student Councils in Chisinau, edition 2025. In total, 20 projects developed by students were selected for funding and will receive financial support to implement their ideas in the school community.

Aimed exclusively at student councils in the Chisinau municipality, the program supports initiatives aimed at:

• Developing self-governance bodies of students
• Active youth participation and encouraging democracy in schools
• Promoting a healthy lifestyle
• Personal development and learning essential life skills

The total budget of the program is 1,000,000 lei, and each council could apply for up to 10,000 lei per project, depending on the objectives and needs identified.

2. Liceul Teoretic “Iulia Hașdeu” – Program of information and prevention of e-cigarette smoking among young people

3. Mircea cel Bătrân Theoretical High School – Young people prepared for life
4. Alexandru Ioan Cuza” Theoretical High School – Finance for the Future – Financial Education for Young People
5. Ștefan cel Mare High School – School FM – Vocea Tinerilor
6. Petru Zadnipru” High School – EcoZadnipru – Green for the Future
7. “Ion and Doina Aldea-Teodorovici” High School – City Quest
8. Ion Creangă” Theoretical High School – Perspectives for the Future: Education and Counseling
9. Gheorghe Ghimpu” Theoretical High School – Feel Good for You
10. Antioh Cantemir Theoretical High School – Think, Play, Win – Personal development through board games
11. Stefan Voda Theoretical High School (Vadul lui Voda) – Smart Development
12. Theoretical High School “Dante Alighieri” – Model United Nations Chisinau
13. Liceul Teoretic “Onisifor Ghibu” – Tomorrow’s Leaders: Strengthening the Student Council for an Active Community
14. Theoretical High School “George Călinescu” – Green for the Future
15. Secondary School “Nicolae H. Costin” – Financial Education for Al
16. Lucian Blaga Theoretical High School – Modernizing education: changes that make school more attractiv
17. Mihail Kogălniceanu” Theoretical High School – Essential Skills for Success in Lif
18. Grătiești High School – Outdoor Classroom – Learning from Natur
19. Gymnasium No. 102 – In a healthy body, a healthy min
20. Hulboaca Educational Complex – Sport for everyone

In addition to these, 23 other projects have been included in the waiting list to be funded after the evaluation and clarification of the proposed budgets.
