Living Library: Women who defied stereotypes at an inspiring event in Chisinau

On March 8, 2025, International Women’s Day, young people from Chisinau are invited to a special edition of the event “Living Library”, organized by MilleniuM Training and Development Institute. The event will take place at Tucano Coffee, 91/a Alexandru cel Bun Street, starting at 14:00, and will bring to the forefront the stories of women who have managed to overcome social and professional stereotypes.
The Living Library concept involves face-to-face meetings with people who share their experiences as “living books”. In this edition, the protagonists are women working in fields traditionally considered male-dominated. Participants will hear their stories about the obstacles they have encountered, the motivation that has guided them and the lessons they have learned throughout their careers.
The event is designed as an open space for dialog, where everyone can ask questions and discover what it means to overcome social barriers through hard work, perseverance and passion.

This initiative aims to encourage an inclusive perspective on careers and inspire new generations to follow their vocation, regardless of prejudices.
