Worn-out jeans are no longer just clothing to be thrown away—they can be transformed into practical and sustainable items. On June 14, the e-Circular consultancy agency will host a creative workshop focused on turning old jeans into reusable bags, offering participants a practical and eco-friendly alternative to excessive textile consumption.

The workshop will take place from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, at the office located on 31 August 1989 Street, No. 129, 3rd floor, Office 304.

Participation is free, but spots are limited to ten people. Registration is done by filling out an online form, available here.

Throughout the workshop, the organizers will provide all necessary materials and equipment, including sewing machines, design ideas, and technical support. Participants are asked to bring a pair of old jeans and, together with the experts, learn how to give them a new life through sewing and handcrafting. The final result is a reusable bag, practical and uniquely designed, which helps reduce plastic use and protect the environment.

e-Circular is a consultancy initiative aimed at supporting the transition to a circular economy in the Republic of Moldova through concrete actions in education, awareness, and civic engagement. The organization regularly conducts workshops, awareness campaigns, and projects focused on material reuse.

The textile sector is one of the most polluting industries globally, and innovative do-it-yourself (DIY) approaches can offer a sustainable and accessible alternative for the general public.
