Tango Under the Open Sky: Tango Argentino Moldova Brings Emotion and Art to the Heart of the Capital

Tango Argentino Moldova launches a new series of summer cultural events dedicated to dance, music, and human connection. Supported by the Chisinau Central District Administration, the “Tango Open Air” series brings Argentine tango evenings to public spaces across the city—inviting locals and visitors alike to experience the joy and freedom of artistic expression. Participation is free.
These events will take place in two central locations in Chișinău, offering an open invitation to anyone interested in discovering or enjoying this unique art form.
The tango evenings will unfold over three open-air gatherings between June and July 2025, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM:
- June 21 – Mihai Eminescu Square
- July 13 & July 27 – Valea Morilor Park
Argentine tango, recognized globally as a cultural heritage, fuses passionate music with a dance style defined by intimacy and expressive movement. Over recent decades, it has expanded across continents, becoming a global phenomenon that fosters intercultural dialogue and social cohesion.
