A Longstanding Event with International Support

Chișinău Maker Faire is part of the global Maker Faire network—a movement present in over 40 countries that promotes the maker culture by encouraging technical and creative skill development through experimentation and collaboration. Moldova joined this movement in 2017, and since then, the festival has become a major event for the local innovation community. The previous edition gathered over 1,000 participants, further strengthening public interest in technology and creativity.
Organized by the National Association of ICT Companies (ATIC), the Youth Maker Club, and Tekwill, the event is supported by the Liechtenstein Development Service (LED) as part of the “Youth Maker Club” project.
As technology continues to evolve, Chișinău Maker Faire promotes local innovation and provides public access to new discoveries and technical knowledge. Through workshops, exhibitions, and direct engagement with experts, the event helps spark interest in careers in science and technology.
