The final of the Youth Basketball Championship concluded the 3rd edition of the Youth Sport Program with a spectacular competition

Chisinau’s young basketball enthusiasts enjoyed an exceptional sporting event during the final of the Youth Basketball Championship, held on April 13, 2025. The event, organized by the Ciocana Youth Center under the aegis of the “Youth Sport” Program – 3rd edition, brought together the best teams made up of young athletes eager to demonstrate their skills and team spirit.
The competition kicked off on April 4 with the qualifying matches over three days. Intense pace, physical exertion and a desire to prove themselves characterized this first phase, where each team fought for the chance to reach the knock-out stages. The semi-finals took place on April 12 and determined the two finalists, setting the stage for the decisive showdown.
The final on April 13 drew a large number of spectators and supporters, who contributed to an atmosphere full of energy and enthusiasm. In a match contested down to the last pass, the Ballin team prevailed to win the trophy.

- Second place: Buiucani Reapers
- Third place: And 1
The championship was more than a sporting competition – it was an exercise in personal and social development. The participants learned about responsibility, perseverance, cooperation and mutual respect, values constantly promoted through the activities of the Youth Sport Program, initiated and supported by the Chisinau Municipal Youth Center.
The Youth Sport Program aims to provide young people with safe, dynamic and accessible contexts to explore their potential in sport, thus contributing to a healthier, more confident and more involved generation.
The basketball championship has shown once again that sport can unite young people from different parts of the city in a competition marked by passion, fair play and team spirit.
