Webinar on engaging young people in data reuse, organized by CNTM and The Data Tank

The National Youth Council of Moldova (CNTM), in collaboration with The Data Tank and international partners, is organizing an interactive webinar dedicated to methodologies for engaging young people in data reuse. The event will take place on Friday, February 28, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. (Chisinau) and will be held in English.
The webinar is addressed to youth organizations, government institutions and international partners interested in integrating young people into data governance processes. The event is based on the conclusions of the international project NextGenData, an applied research project carried out in several countries and coordinated by The Data Tank, in partnership with Dasra (India), SOS Children’s Villages (Kyrgyzstan), Tanzania Data Lab and the National Youth Council of Moldova.
What topics will be addressed?
Participants will have the opportunity to discover:
- Effective strategies for integrating data reuse into youth projects;
- Practical examples and recommendations based on the experience of international partners;
- Innovative methodology for engaging young people in the development of responsible frameworks for data reuse;
- The impact of cultural and contextual factors on the implementation of the methodology in different countries;
- Challenges and opportunities in the process of involving young people in data reuse;
- A practical toolkit for engaging young people in responsible data reuse, aimed at professionals and organisations who want to adapt the methodology to their own context.
