The Purpose of the Strategy<\/h3>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tThe purpose of the Strategy is to create favorable conditions for the development of young people, to offer opportunities for their participation in decision-making processes, and to ensure their access to a wide and diverse range of services tailored to this population group. The document was developed with the support of experts contracted by UNICEF Moldova and was publicly consulted in several stages. The Strategy outlines the strengthening and guidance of the actions of Chi\u0219in\u0103u\u2019s local public authorities in the youth sector for the years 2023\u20132028.
The vision of the new Strategy is to have a city where all young people are active, able to realize their rights and full potential, and able to contribute to building a peaceful, inclusive, and sustainable community.
Achieving the set objectives can be ensured by providing all young people in the municipality\u2014especially the most vulnerable\u2014with appropriate support to strengthen their autonomy, exercise their rights, and reach their full potential, as well as by ensuring access to youth-friendly services (in the fields of health, participation, volunteering, leisure, entrepreneurship, etc.). The Strategy defines seven priorities, which are to be developed through the Implementation Plan.\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

The 7 priorities of the Implementation Plan<\/h3>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t1) Increasing the level of youth engagement and participation.

2) Facilitating young people\u2019s access to personal development programs through 21st-century skills.

3) Ensuring inclusion through education for tolerance, democracy, and gender education.

4) Supporting youth organizations and the associative sector.

5) Developing entrepreneurial skills and enhancing the economic empowerment of young people.

6) Creating conditions for a healthy lifestyle and promoting well-being among young people.

The Strategy is based on an extensive analysis of the factors and issues that slow down or hinder the development of the youth sector and young people in the municipality of Chi\u0219in\u0103u, the main commitments undertaken at the local and national levels in the youth sector, as well as trends and good practices in youth work at the national level.
