This is the central theme of the workshop <strong>&#8220;From studio to gallery&#8221;,<\/strong> organized within the <strong>Young Artist Auction<\/strong> project, which will take place on <strong>17 November, 17:00<\/strong>, at <strong>Artcor Chisinau<\/strong>, 137, 31 August 1989 street, 137.<\/p>\n<p>The event is dedicated to young artists interested in promoting their own creations, collaborating with galleries and curators and exploring authentic forms of artistic expression beyond social networks.<\/p>\n<p>The guest of the session is <strong>Pavel Br\u0103ila<\/strong>, one of the most appreciated visual artists from the Republic of Moldova, active on the international scene for over two decades. A graduate of <strong>Jan van Eyck Academie<\/strong> (The Netherlands) and <strong>Le Fresnoy &#8211; Studio national des arts contemporains<\/strong> (France), Br\u0103ila divides his time between Chisinau and Berlin.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>An internationally recognized artist<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Pavel Br\u0103ila&#8217;s work combines film, installation and performance, exploring themes such as identity, memory, post-Soviet social transformations and the perception of East versus West.<br \/>He has participated in major contemporary art events such as <strong>documenta11<\/strong> (Kassel, 2002) with the work &#8220;Shoes for Europe&#8221;, <strong>Manifesta 10<\/strong> (St. Petersburg, 2014), as well as in numerous exhibitions in museums and cultural centers in Europe, the USA and Asia.<br \/>His recent projects include <em>The Golden Snow of the Sochi Olympics<\/em> and <em>Stolen Billion<\/em>, works that critically address the social and political realities of the Republic of Moldova.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>An evening of motivational ideas and new perspectives<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>The workshop promises an evening of discussion about alternative ways of promotion for artists who do not want an active social media presence.
