{"id":39516,"date":"2026-02-10T00:22:28","date_gmt":"2026-02-09T21:22:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/e-tineret.md\/?p=39516"},"modified":"2026-02-10T00:22:28","modified_gmt":"2026-02-09T21:22:28","slug":"euroquiz-2026-get-closer-to-european-values-and-test-your-intellectual-skills","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/e-tineret.md\/en\/euroquiz-2026-get-closer-to-european-values-and-test-your-intellectual-skills\/","title":{"rendered":"EuroQuiz 2026 &#8211; get closer to European values and test your intellectual skills"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The<em>Chisinau City Hall<\/em>, through the <em>General Directorate of Education, Youth and Sport, <\/em>is launching the 2026 edition of the national EuroQuiz Moldova competition which brings young people closer to Europe.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Aim of the competition<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The main objective of the competition is to bring young people closer to <em>European values<\/em> and strengthen <em>their understanding of the European path of<\/em> the Republic of Moldova. Young people benefit from valuable new skills in activities such as teamwork, critical thinking and essential knowledge about the <em>importance of Moldova&#8217;s integration into the European Union<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What does EuroQuiz involve?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In the competition, participants will demonstrate <em>their knowledge of the European Union<\/em>, ranging from the continent&#8217;s history and geography to European institutions, art, culture, literature, gastronomy and Europe&#8217;s linguistic diversity. The competition involves cooperation, critical thinking and <em>dialog on Moldova&#8217;s role in the European family.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>EuroQuiz will take place in several stages:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>April 6-10 <\/strong>&#8211; intra-school stage;<\/li>\n<li><strong>April 24 <\/strong>&#8211; district stage;<\/li>\n<li><strong>May 8 <\/strong>&#8211; EuroQuiz Moldova republican final.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Following the republican stage, the first-placed team will be awarded a <em>study visit<\/em> to <strong>Brussels, Belgium<\/strong>, where students will have the opportunity to <em>investigate first-hand the European institutions<\/em> and <em>investigate the symbolic capital of the European Union<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Who can take part?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>EuroQuiz 2026<\/em> is open to students:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>from classes IX-XII;<\/li>\n<li>who are passionate about <em>European values<\/em> and the <em>future of Moldova in the European area<\/em>;<\/li>\n<li>interested in testing<em> intellectual<\/em> and <em>critical thinking<\/em><em> skills<\/em>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Young people can participate by forming teams of <strong>4-6 members<\/strong>, coordinated by a <strong>teacher<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Interested teams can apply by consulting the <a href=\"https:\/\/drive.google.com\/drive\/u\/0\/folders\/1DluGMeloEjYNbFMzo2sbGluVQq8-X47X\"><strong>competition rules<\/strong><\/a> and filling in the <a href=\"https:\/\/forms.gle\/Fzf4MeFtzcY8LzK46\"><strong>application form<\/strong><\/a> by <strong>April 2, 2026.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>EuroQuiz is organized by the Office for European Integration, starting in partnership with the Ministry of Education and Research and the Association of Intellectual Games of the Republic of Moldova.<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>TheChisinau City Hall, through the General Directorate of Education, Youth and Sport, is launching the 2026 edition of the national EuroQuiz Moldova competition which brings young people closer to Europe.
