Information session for non-commercial organizations"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em>The CONTACT<\/em> Center invites representatives of the non-governmental sector to a hands-on training session dedicated to tax reporting for the 2025 period. The event will shed light on the essential aspects of completing <em>the NGO17 Declaration<\/em> and <em>managing taxable income<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Correct financial reporting is a prerequisite for the transparency and sustainability of any NGO. In this context, on <em>16 March 2026<\/em>, an online information session will be organized to support accountants and managers of organizations in the process of filing their income tax return.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What topics will be covered?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The session will be moderated by <em>Valentina Rotaru<\/em>, an associate expert of the <em>CONTACT Center<\/em>, an <em>accountant <\/em>and<em> auditor<\/em> with extensive experience in the field. Participants will benefit from practical explanations on:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Legal framework: who is obliged to file the NGO17 Declaration according to the Tax Code.<\/li>\n<li>Income and Expenses: How to reflect grants, donations and expenses related to statutory projects.<\/li>\n<li>2% Mechanism: Correct procedure for reporting amounts obtained through percentage designation.<\/li>\n<li>Hands-on expertise: Identifying taxable income, avoiding common errors and filing deadlines.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Event details:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>When: March 16, 2026, 3:00 &#8211; 5:00 p.m.<\/li>\n<li>Where: Online, Zoom platform<\/li>\n<li>Language: English<\/li>\n<li>Target audience: Executive directors, accountants, administrators and project managers in NGOs.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Registration and Participation<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Participation is <em>free of charge<\/em>, but a registration form must be filled in in advance.
