Young people from Chisinau challenged to bring the elegance of the past to the present at the “Back in Time – Youth Edition” contest

The Chisinau Municipal Youth Center is launching a unique invitation for all fashion, history and creative expression enthusiasts: on April 26, 2025, at its headquarters on Mitropolit Varlaam 90, the “Back in Time – Youth Edition” retro costume contest will take place. The event promises a visual journey through the decades that marked world fashion, from the 1920s to the 1980s and beyond.
Young people between the ages of 14 and 35 are invited to participate for free, choosing to recreate, with originality, emblematic styles from the eras that inspired them. The fashion shows will start at 12:00, in a setting dedicated to creativity and good mood, and the outfits will be evaluated by a jury made up of design, art and communication specialists.
The prizes up for grabs are attractive:
- First Prize: 1000 lei
- Second Prize: 700 lei
- Third Prize: 500 lei
