10 students selected as volunteers of the Cultural Center “America House Chisinau”

The Cultural Center “America House Chisinau” proudly announced the list of 10 young people who have been selected as volunteers for a period of 6 months. These students come from various educational institutions in Chisinau and will play an essential role in the organization and development of the Centre’s cultural and educational activities.

Who are the volunteers?

• Victor Bicenco – IPLT “Spiru Haret”
• Gorceag Leo – LT “Orizont”
• Tiron Alexandru – IPLT “Mihai Viteazul”
• Cheptine Alisa – High School of Creativity and Inventiveness “Prometeu-Prim”
• Francesca Istratii – “Heritage” International School
• Ece Kahraman – Heritage International School
• Gabriela Lupăcescu – LTR “Aristotel”
• Lupan Miruna Lupan – IPLT “Ion Creangă”
• Pleșca Polina – IPLT “Mihail Sadoveanu”

The selected young people will have the opportunity to be actively involved in the center’s projects and to lead their own activities. Their responsibilities will include:

• English conversation clubs – Giving participants the chance to improve their communication skills.
• English board game sessions – Interactive activities that develop vocabulary and team spirit.

Volunteers will also work collaboratively with American Spaces staff to plan and organize events relevant to the center’s audiences. Other tasks include:

• Creating social media content – Developing visual and textual materials to promote events.
• Writing articles for the website – Contributing written materials that reflect center activities.

Participation in the volunteer program of “America House Chisinau” offers many advantages, such as:

• Official diploma awarded by the Public Diplomacy Section of the U.S. Embassy in Moldova.
• Valuable Training – Courses in visual design, social media management and public speaking.
