In a first for the Republic of Moldova, the National Olympiad of Artificial Intelligence (ONIA), an important academic event, recognized by the Ministry of Education, was launched. This initiative marks a strategic step in the development of advanced skills in technology and programming at national level, targeting passionate students and teachers.

The competition is designed to identify and promote young innovators, providing them with a platform where they can demonstrate their skills in solving real-world problems through AI-basedsolutions .

  • Eligibility: high school students aged between 16 and 19 who have studied AI in school or independently.
  • Format: The competition is run in teams, consisting of a maximum of two students and a coordinating teacher from the educational institution.
