The CONTACT Center invites representatives of the non-governmental sector to a hands-on training session dedicated to tax reporting for the 2025 period. The event will shed light on the essential aspects of completing the NGO17 Declaration and managing taxable income.

Correct financial reporting is a prerequisite for the transparency and sustainability of any NGO. In this context, on 16 March 2026, an online information session will be organized to support accountants and managers of organizations in the process of filing their income tax return.

What topics will be covered?

The session will be moderated by Valentina Rotaru, an associate expert of the CONTACT Center, an accountant and auditor with extensive experience in the field. Participants will benefit from practical explanations on:

  • Legal framework: who is obliged to file the NGO17 Declaration according to the Tax Code.
  • Income and Expenses: How to reflect grants, donations and expenses related to statutory projects.
  • 2% Mechanism: Correct procedure for reporting amounts obtained through percentage designation.
  • Hands-on expertise: Identifying taxable income, avoiding common errors and filing deadlines.
