Call for Participation to the School of Policy, Leadership and Advocacy in Warsaw

Young people passionate about politics and activism from the Republic of Moldova are invited to participate in the School of Politics, Leadership and Advocacy, a project that will take place from November 18-22, 2024, in Warsaw, Poland. This program offers the opportunity to develop essential skills to reshape policy and engage in advocacy.

Participants will benefit from lectures and interactive discussions covering a wide range of topics including:

  • Leadership;
  • Advocacy campaigns;
  • Negotiations;
  • Teambuilding;
  • Policy analysis.

The program is built on participatory learning methods, including simulations, role plays, lectures and small group work. In addition, participants will have the opportunity to interact with experts in politics, democracy and elections, thus improving the interpersonal skills needed to succeed in politics and advocacy.

All activities will be conducted in English and participation is free of charge. The organizers will select a limited number of 25 people to attend the courses.

Eligibility criteria:

  • Nationality of the Republic of Moldova;
  • Between 18 and 35 years of age;
  • Applicant must be:
    • Member of Parliament or
    • Mer candidate in national, regional or local elections or;
    • Member of a political party or;
    • Youth activist or civil society leader with advocacy experience.

 

Documents required for application:

  1. Motivation letter;
  2. One-minute video clip describing your greatest achievement in politics or activism;
  3. Updated CV;
  4. Biography description.
