On February 14-16, Moldexpo opened its doors for the long-awaited event “Tourism and Travel Expo 2025”. This exhibition brought together tourism industry professionals, travel agents, travel enthusiasts and visitors curious to discover the latest trends and offers in the field.

The exhibition offered a variety of themed stands, each with a unique and attractive design. Visitors were able to explore tailor-made holiday offers, package deals and exotic destinations. Travel agents were on hand to offer advice and detailed information on the different travel options.

A special highlight was the Festival-Competition “Hora – united by tradition”, which took place within the exhibition. This event celebrated traditional dance and song, giving young people a platform to express their talent and passion for national culture.

“Moldova is unique and very diverse. Even if it is small, it has a very big heart. I followed very closely our ancestral customs that some of them are already lost…” – said one of the visitors of the event.

The exhibition was a meeting place for tourism professionals, providing opportunities for networking and exchanging ideas. Visitors were able to interact with representatives of travel agencies, learning useful information about the favorite destinations and current trends in tourism. “Top tourist destinations would be Greece, Turkey, Bulgaria. For the first time we have direct flights from Chisinau to Valencia and Palma de Majorca.” – Nika Tur travel agency representative told us.

Those actively involved in the activity also encouraged young people to explore the beauties of Moldova: “To all young people we first of all want them to love their country, traditions, customs and when they eat all these holy things, they will come uninvited, alone they will come to miss the beauty of the country, the nation, everything related to the customs of our nation.”

The exhibition promoted personalized tourism, authentic cultural experiences and discovery of local destinations.
