Free training in social innovations for NGOs and social enterprises, organized by the East Europe Foundation

Representatives of civil society organizations, social enterprises and initiative groups from the Republic of Moldova are invited to participate in an intensive training in the field of social innovations. The event, organized by the East Europe Foundation and funded by Sweden, is part of the project “Active Citizens, Prosperous Communities 2021-2025” and aims to improve the capacity of NGOs to address social problems through innovative solutions.

Aim of the training

The main objective is to increase the skills of NGOs and social enterprises in implementing innovative social business solutions, using design thinking techniques and optimizing social impact in communities. This approach aims to build resilient and inclusive communities capable of responding quickly to contemporary challenges.

Training details

  • Dates: December 9 and 10, 2024 (participants can choose one day only).
  • Time: 9:00 – 17:30.
  • Location: Chisinau (exact location will be communicated to selected participants).
  • Language: Romanian (without translation).
  • Participation: Free of charge (the organizers provide coffee breaks and lunch, but do not cover transportation or accommodation costs).

Target audience

The training addresses:

  • NGO leaders;
  • Administrators of social enterprises;
  • Social project coordinators;
  • Non-profit sector teams;
  • People who want to implement innovative solutions in the community.

Note: Only one person per organization can participate.

To participate, applicants must complete the form available here by November 25, 2024. Selection will be on a first come first served basis and places are limited.
