“Impact Space” – a new initiative for the development of social enterprises in Moldova

On February 20, 2025, at the Glia Impact HUB in Chisinau, the official launch of the “Impact Space” initiative, a project dedicated to supporting social enterprises across the country, will take place. The event will bring together public and private sector representatives, social entrepreneurs and non-governmental organizations, aiming to create a sustainable ecosystem for social impact businesses.
What is Impact Space?
“Impact Space aims to provide social entrepreneurs with the tools, resources and networks they need to grow and actively contribute to social and economic inclusion. The initiative covers all regions of the country, including the autonomous unit of Gagauzia and the Transnistrian region, thus strengthening a favorable environment for businesses that promote community good.
Event agenda
Attendees will have the opportunity to discover more about the project’s objectives and benefits, interact with experts in the field and hear the stories of social entrepreneurs who have succeeded in creating successful businesses with a positive impact on the community.
- 09:30 – 10:00 | Registration of participants and exhibition with sale
- 10:00 – 10:30 | Opening of the event, with speeches from representatives of the East Europe Foundation, the Embassy of Sweden and the Ministry of Economic Development and Digitalization
- 10:30 – 11:00 | Presentation of the project, by representatives from East Europe Foundation, EcoVisio, European Business Association and Alliance of Disabled People’s Organizations
- 11:00 – 11:30 | Testimonies from social entrepreneurs, such as Tatiana Puga (Credem Eco) and Maria Pasat (Vibe Academy)
- 11:30 – 11:45 | Q&A session
- 11:45 – 13:00 | Lunch and socializing

Who organizes the event?
The initiative is implemented by the East Europe Foundation, in collaboration with EcoVisio, the European Business Association and the Alliance of Disabled People’s Organizations, with the financial support of the Swedish Government.
