The Public Association “CASMED” has launched the video contest “It’s my right to be healthy” – an initiative that promotes health as a fundamental right worth protecting and valuing. The contest is conceived as a team educational activity, carried out together with classmates or classmates from another class, resulting in a collective product of the educational institution. Participation is encouraged, including in a student-teacher team format, and prizes will be awarded to the schools whose videos are selected as the winners.

Theaim of the competition is to involve teenagers aged 14-19 in promoting care and responsibility for their own health by understanding the importance of prevention, regular health check-ups and their impact on personal wellbeing and the school community.

As part of the competition, students (in collaboration with teachers) are invited to develop a 30 – 45 second video that conveys a clear, creative and educational message on one of the following topics:

  • What it means to take care of your health in everyday life;
  • why it’s important to go to the doctor even when nothing hurts;
  • the risks of postponing or avoiding health check-ups;
  • how students and teachers can work together to contribute to a healthier school;
  • what prevention means and how it helps us protect ourselves and others.

Video submission period: until February 20, 2026

The contest is organized in the framework of the initiative “It’s my right to be healthy”, carried out by the Public Association “CASMED” in partnership with the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Education and Research, the WHO Office in the Republic of Moldova, with the support of the Government of Switzerland and the European Union.
