Young people who want to speak more clearly, convincingly and confidently in front of their peers or at presentations are invited on March 19 at StudentHUB ASEM for an event dedicated to developing public speaking skills. The activity helps participants to understand how to structure their ideas, manage their emotions and deliver a memorable speech, useful both at university and in interviews.

The event will be given by Ilie Dercaci and Daniil Carnauh, two trainers who will cover essential topics for any young person who wants to communicate more effectively and become more confident in their speech.

What participants will learn

During the session, participants will discover how to construct a clear and persuasive speech, how to start and end a presentation in a memorable way, and how to control their emotions when speaking in front of a group.

The event also emphasizes applicability, so that young people can use these skills immediately in real-life contexts, such as college presentations, project speeches or job interviews.

Mini-Speech Challenge: practical exercise and feedback

One of the interactive moments of the event is the Mini-Speech Challenge, a group activity where participants will have the opportunity to write, speak and receive feedback. The exercise is designed to turn theory into practice and to give young people first-hand experience of public speaking in a safe and constructive environment.

This format will enable participants not only to learn, but also to observe themselves in action, identify their strengths and understand what they still need to work on.

Why it’s worth taking part

Fear of public speaking is one of the most common difficulties among young people. Whether it’s a college presentation, speaking in a team project or an interview, the ability to communicate clearly and confidently can make a big difference.

The event at StudentHUB ASEM comes as a practical opportunity for those who want to break through blocks, better organize their ideas and develop confidence in their own speech.

Participation is free, but places are limited and the organizers encourage those interested to register early.
