Strategic consultations with NGOs at Chisinau Municipal Youth Center for the title of “European Youth Capital 2027”

The Chisinau Municipal Youth Centre recently organized an important meeting with representatives of Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) to discuss ideas and proposals related to Chisinau’s bid for the title of “European Youth Capital 2027”. This event was dedicated to the direct involvement of young people and youth organizations in the process of developing an innovative and representative plan for the young generation.

During the consultations, initiatives to support the development of a program that reflects the needs and aspirations of young people in Chisinau were discussed. Participants proposed valuable ideas for the diversification of cultural, educational and social activities, emphasizing collaboration between the youth sector and NGOs.

What does the title “European Capital of Youth” mean? The “European Capital of Youth” title is awarded annually to a European city that demonstrates the capacity to develop and implement innovative youth policies and initiatives. The winning city becomes an example of best practice in promoting youth participation and strengthening community development initiatives.

Chisinau is currently in the running for this prestigious title for the year 2027, which would bring increased international visibility and numerous opportunities for young people in the capital.
