Residents of the capital are invited to participate in a new edition of “Velo Road Chisinau”, a race dedicated to promoting sustainable urban mobility and an active lifestyle. The initiative comes as Chisinau City Hall has declared 2026 as the year of urban mobility, encouraging green transportation alternatives.

The event will take place on April 25, 2026, starting at 14:00, and proposes a route of about 15 kilometers, crossing the main arteries of the city. Participants will start from the Chisinau City Hall, continuing along the Stefan cel Mare and Holy Stefan Boulevard, Ciuflea, Hristo Botev and Constantin Negruzzi Streets, as well as Dacia and Calea Ieșilor Boulevards. The route will end at the Buiucani Youth Center, where participants will be surprised.

At the end of the race, the organizers are preparing a special raffle, where participants can win one of the five electric bikes up for grabs, providing extra motivation for those who choose to pedal for a cleaner city. Details about the raffle here.
