Cyber Security and AI Week 2025 – digital security and artificial intelligence at the heart of strategic decisions

Digital security and Artificial Intelligence are no longer the future, they are today’s stakes. In an era where cyber-attacks are becoming increasingly sophisticated and AI is redefining the way we think about digital defense, Orange Business is bringing business leaders, government and international experts together at the same table for a day dedicated to strategic decisions that will shape the future of security in the Republic of Moldova.

On November 11 at the Courtyard by Marriott Chișinău, Cyber Security and AI Week 2025 – the tech and business community’s flagship event of the year – takes place. It is a platform where vision meets responsibility and dialog becomes the key tool for a secure and sustainable digital future.

The main themes of the edition:

ACTING OUT – an interdisciplinary performance at the National Center for Arts Education, Chisinau

On November 7, 2025, at 19:00, at 23 Serghei Lazo St., Chisinau, will take place ACTING OUT, an interdisciplinary performance (theater, text, live music, video) signed by director Mihai Lukács and performed by actress Katia Pascariu. Admission is free, subject to availability.

About the performance

ACTING OUT explores the body, memory and resistance, inspired by the life of Estherei Magyar-Gonda, dancer, anti-fascist activist and one of the architects of Romanian modern dance. Starting from her deportation to Transnistria and her renunciation of the stage, the performance shows how the body becomes an archive of trauma and a tool of political and pedagogical struggle.

Actress Katia Pascariu interweaves Esther’s biography with her own bodily experience, going through pressures, abuses and forms of resistance through alternative pedagogies. The director Mihai Lukács proposes a collage of gestures, silences, live music and video images, inviting the audience to reconstruct meanings from discontinuity and absence.

The performance will be followed by an artist talk, a space for direct dialog with the artistic team, for critical reflection and discussion with the audience.

Reflection workshop – November 8

On November 8, between 11:00 and 15:00, actress Katia Pascariu will hold a workshop at Queer Cafe, dedicated to power dynamics in schools. Participants will explore, through conversation and performative exercises, how the body and art can become tools for awareness and solidarity. Limited number of places: 20.

About the artists

Katia Pascariu is a theater and film actress, winner of the Gopo Award for Best Actress (2022) and distinguished by The New York Times as one of the best actors of the year. In 2025, she received the Boccalino d’Oro Award at the Locarno Film Festival. A graduate of UNATC Bucharest, she has extensive experience on the independent stage and in political theater projects.

Mihai Lukács is director, playwright and researcher, founder of Dialectic Center, a platform dedicated to interdisciplinary performance. His projects investigate the relationship between art and society, corporality and memory. Recent works include Mansdorf (Jewish State Theater, 2023) and Mama (Dialectic Center, 2020).

The Acting Out tour (2025-2026) is organized by the Dialectic Centre and co-funded by the National Cultural Fund Administration.

Communication without barriers – turn your temper to your advantage

Each of us has a unique communication style. At the workshop “Communication without barriers – turn your temperament to your advantage”, you will discover how to capitalize on your temperament and communicate effectively without tension or barriers.

The event is dedicated to young women interested in personal development and communication skills and will take place at the Orange Digital Center Moldova, premises of the State Pedagogical University “Ion Creangă”, Ion Creangă Street 1, central block, 2nd floor, Chisinau.

The workshop will guide you to:

  • Understand your own behavior type and communication predispositions;

Participants will go on a personal and interactive journey, with practical exercises and online quizzes for self-assessment, group work and dialogs that allow you to observe your communication style “in the mirror”.

INSIDEOUT – Ana Costov’s exhibition, an exploration of the inner self

A new exhibition signed by the artist Ana Costov will take place on November 7, 2025, starting at 18:00, at Cartego, 2 Vlaicu Pârcălab Street, Chisinau. The event marks the official presentation of the INSIDEOUT series, a collection of abstract works dedicated to the dialog between the inner self and the spiritual dimension.

The exhibition invites the public to enter a visual universe built on deep introspection, complex emotions and the search for higher meaning. Each work becomes a landscape of inner experiences, shaped by the dynamics between fragility, courage, chaos and balance.

Themes and experiences for visitors

INSIDEOUT proposes a journey through powerful states and contrasts, which the artist visually translates through shapes, textures and colors. Visitors are invited to discover the transitions between:

  • silence and noise
  • chaos and harmony
  • suffering and healing
  • desire and tranquility
  • fear and courage

These dualities become points of reflection and introspection, encouraging a direct and authentic relationship between the viewer and the work.

From studio to gallery – a Young Artist Auction workshop with Pavel Brăila

How can you stay visible in the art world without living in algorithms? This is the central theme of the workshop “From studio to gallery”, organized within the Young Artist Auction project, which will take place on 17 November, 17:00, at Artcor Chisinau, 137, 31 August 1989 street, 137.

The event is dedicated to young artists interested in promoting their own creations, collaborating with galleries and curators and exploring authentic forms of artistic expression beyond social networks.

The guest of the session is Pavel Brăila, one of the most appreciated visual artists from the Republic of Moldova, active on the international scene for over two decades. A graduate of Jan van Eyck Academie (The Netherlands) and Le Fresnoy – Studio national des arts contemporains (France), Brăila divides his time between Chisinau and Berlin.

An internationally recognized artist

Pavel Brăila’s work combines film, installation and performance, exploring themes such as identity, memory, post-Soviet social transformations and the perception of East versus West.
He has participated in major contemporary art events such as documenta11 (Kassel, 2002) with the work “Shoes for Europe”, Manifesta 10 (St. Petersburg, 2014), as well as in numerous exhibitions in museums and cultural centers in Europe, the USA and Asia.
His recent projects include The Golden Snow of the Sochi Olympics and Stolen Billion, works that critically address the social and political realities of the Republic of Moldova.

An evening of motivational ideas and new perspectives

The workshop promises an evening of discussion about alternative ways of promotion for artists who do not want an active social media presence. Drawing from his own experience, Pavel Brăila will talk about how an artist can build visibility through collaborations, festivals, curatorial networks and institutional context – betting on authenticity and valuable content, not algorithms.

Participants will have the opportunity to discover inspiring strategies, examples and real stories in a relaxed and creative setting.

Zoom In Victoriabank – a new perspective on a career in banking

On October 25, at Victoriabank branch no. 3 in Chisinau, young financial enthusiasts stepped into a different world of banking from close up. The “Zoom In” event , organized by Victoriabank in partnership with AIESEC, offered students and graduates a real opportunity to discover what a day in the life of a banking professional is like.

A day behind the scenes

The aim of the event was to bring young people closer to the reality of the financial system and to give them an authentic insight into what it is like to build a career in the industry.

Participants interacted directly with specialists from Victoriabank, participated in 1-on-1 discussions, practical workshops and simulations of real-life situations, discovering what skills are really important in a modern banking environment.

“It was a very useful experience, I understood more clearly what it means to work in a bank and how important communication and attention to detail are,” said one young participant.

Job shadowing competition

One of the key moments was the competition for a job shadowing experience – a prize that gives the most engaged young people the chance to spend a day shadowing a Victoriabank employee, observing the work inside the institution.

This initiative allows participants to see first-hand how theory turns into practice and how a career is built step by step.

Inspiring collaboration

“We want Zoom In to be more than an informative event – we want it to be a real step towards young people’s careers. By partnering with AIESEC, we give them the opportunity to learn directly from professionals and connect with their future workplace,” said a representative of the organizers.

Through this project, Victoriabank and AIESEC encourage young people to follow their curiosity, discover their professional potential and look at banking from a modern perspective based on innovation and continuous development.

National Youth Week in Chisinau!

În perioada 4–9 noiembrie 2025, capitala Republicii Moldova va găzdui Săptămâna Națională a Tineretului la Chișinău – o serie de activități dedicate tinerilor activi, creativi și dornici să contribuie la dezvoltarea comunității. Evenimentul este organizat anual în contextul Zilei Naționale a Tineretului, sărbătorită în a doua duminică a lunii noiembrie, și are scopul de a promova participarea civică, implicarea socială și spiritul de inițiativă al tinerilor din capitală.

Pe parcursul celor șase zile, centrele de tineret din municipiu, împreună cu organizații de profil și parteneri locali, vor organiza activități educative, culturale și sportive, oferind tinerilor un spațiu de dezvoltare, dialog și colaborare.
